MINUTES OF THE OAKLAKE ASSOCIATION
BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
January 12, 2009

Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. All board members were present.

Guests: Patti Ginise, Hank Zhaghi, Frank Miller,
Josh,  Noel Roberson, Vik Shah and Evan

Treasurer’s report:
Checking account: $22,756.51 --
Reserve: $75,131.69

Stefani asked if anyone was present to dispute any fines or charges. There was no response.

Noel Roberson said that the children are skating with ramps at the entrance. It is very dangerous and inconvenient. We will put this in the Honker.

Trashcans are being put out on Wednesday. We need to send letters reminding them that Thursday is the earliest to put them out.

Vik Shah asked why there was a large cone on Denise lane. Dick said that the homeowner had a large tree there and it ruined the street. The homeowner disagrees. Hopefully this will be resolved in 30 days. Vik questioned people having gates on their lake houses.

Security:
Dominique and Erin came from Global Security. They fell we might need more lighting and more cameras. We will put the 4 cameras back. We discussed DSL Internet service and having an automatic alarm system from 10 p.m. to 6a.m. There would be a key box next to the gate that would make the gates inoperable after 10 p.m. All this for a cost of $17,359.

There wasn’t a quorum for the annual meeting. We now need half the membership. We had enough and now we have a new board. Alec is President, John is Vice-President, Stefani is treasurer/secretary, Dick is in charge of security and Katie is a director.
Josh was concerned about the commercial vehicles being parked overnight on the streets. We will monitor that and send letters when the infraction is observed.

Christmas lights must be down by February1, 2009.
