MINUTES OF THE OAK LAKE ASSOCIATION
REGULAR MEETING
March 10, 2008

Meeting was called to order at 8:00p.m. All board members were present.

Guests: Patti Ginise, Hank Zaghi, Helen Zhagi, Heidi Mulligan,  Greg Kaiser and Matt Mcneil.

Treasurer’s report:
Checking account: $28,114.34  -- Special assessment account: $28,132.40
T-Bill: $49,034.39 --- T-Bill: $49,770.00 --- Reserve: $40,097.73

Reserve Study:
To fully fund the reserve we would need to assess each house $3000. But we do not need to be fully funded now. At a later time we need to revisit this depending on the useful life of certain items. Alec said he feels we are going ahead by doing the pool, clubhouse and lake. Alec asked Dick to look at the ongoing maintenance of the streets.

Security:
We are putting the addition of more cameras on hold. Total would have been about $5300.
Concerning tenant Christina Gordon, Alec said there would be no more discussions with tenants per the Sterling Act.

Management Company and Maintenance:
Evan will find certified contractors for the pool, landscape, asphalt and security.
Robert said we need another speed bump. John made a motion to put one more speed bump on Sedan between the first stop sign and Samra. Robert seconded. All in favor.

Pool Renovation:
Pool should be done by the beginning of April. A new water heater has been installed. Deposit of $1000 was paid. $7400 is due after tile and prep installation. $6000 after plaster. Final payment of $1400 when work is approved. Heidi will get back to us on the time. Tile will be Mercedes Blue.

CCnRs:
Meeting on 3/11/08

Dvry Project:
Department of Toxic Surfaces Control will take over the area and develop a test plan for the surface.
436 signatures were delivered to the Councilman’s office. Alec and Alex met with Phyliss Winger. She said that the council office doesn’t take a position. They sit back and watch. Alec feels there seems to be a split in the community. Some people want to accept the rezoning with restrictions. Alec still says he and his group have not accepted the rezoning. Bob Brostiff is in charge of the group who is in favor of rezoning with restrictions. He is also the head of neighborhood watch.
Alec feels the councilman should send us a response to our petition.
The traffic study has been completed. Alec feels the traffic report does not address the side streets.
Tanner Blackman will do the environmental report.

Architectural:
Robert suggested that we put a generator in the clubhouse.

Meetings in the future will be at 7:30 p.m.

Hank said that there is a noisy compressor behind his house. Alec said that he would look into it.

Meeting adjourned at 9:12 p.m.
