MINUTES OF THE OAKLAKE ASSOCIATION
BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
September 08, 2008
Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. All board members were present.
Guests: Patti Ginise, Matt McNeill, Heidi Mulligan, Hank Zhaghi, Frank Miller, Marilyn Williams and Josh and Katy Rothman
Treasurer’s report:
Checking account: $613.03 -- Special assessment account: $48,323.78
T-Bill: $49,903.13 --- Reserve: $107,928.42
The following houses were voted and approved for foreclosure.
8411 Samra Drive, 8488 Denise Lane, 8481 Darlene Lane
A notice of lien was voted for 8485Carla Lane. All votes were unanimous.
Security:
Josh expressed his concern about security and the lack of it from 6a.m. to 2 p.m. Alec asked Stefani to put together a security questionnaire. Alec asked Frank to look into the prices for a spike street at the exit and the price of an additional arm at the exit.
Clubhouse Renovation:
The restrooms are complete, exterior painting is 70% done, a/c need to be installed, need the decking outside.
Street repair:
The repairs are complete for this year. We spent approx. $40,000. Next year about my there will be additional work.
Homeowner removed the tree that ruined the asphalt in front of 8374 Denise Lane.
Landscaping:
They have asked for a raise but we will put that on the agenda for October.
Home Appearance:
8337 Sedan the hill is overgrown. Dick will do a drive by with Evan.
Devry property:
Rezoning application is submitted. The city issued an environment impact report. Alec is protesting with the committee about the EIR. We want a full EIR not a short one. If they go ahead then the committee will appeal. They are talking about an 8 story building on a helipad. It would be a 40 foot plateau.
New business:
Put a not on the red truck across from the clubhouse to move it.
Marine Biochemists got a price for fish.
3” bass are $5 and we need 50
2-3: blue gill are $3 and we need 150
The cost will be $887.12
All board member were in favor.
